• Successfully preserved homeowner's claim for defective EIFS by establishing that the discovery rule applies to contract claims under the construction statute of repose.  Lombardi v. JTE Constr., Inc. (consolidated with 1000 Virginia Ltd. Partnership v. Vertecs Corp.), 158 Wn.2d 566, 146 P.3d 423 (2006).
• Successfully obtained an award of compensation substantially exceeding the state of Washington's previous offers, together with attorney fees, after the State filed condemnation actions to acquire parcels in downtown Seattle for expansion of the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.  State ex rel. Washington State Convention and Trade Center v. Allerdice, 101 Wn. App. 25, 1 P.3d 595 (2000).
  
• Successfully enforced arbitration provision on behalf of general contractor on inmate housing project at McNeil Island Correction Center.   Pegasus Constr. Corp. v. Turner Constr. Co., 84 Wn. App. 744, 929 P.2d 1200 (1997).
  
• Seminal case on whether the state of Washington should recognize a cause of action for negligent construction.  Stuart v. Coldwell Banker Commercial Group, Inc., 109 Wn.2d 406, 745 P.2d 1284 (1987).
• Obtained jury verdict and judgment declaring that insurance policy did not cover corporation's claims for destruction of property by establishing that the property was in fact destroyed by arson committed by the corporation's own agent.
